About Virtual Pookalam Android App

Virtual Pookalam(Flower Carpet) app is an augmented reality app, that allows the user to create a virtual flower carpet design using any easily available markers.
Place a magazine or folded newspaper that has enough distinct image patterns for the app to recognise, on the floor. Open the app and it will present you with a camera view with view finder.
Hold the device parallel to the marker, and move the device such that the image fills the view finder. Click on the flower button to visualise. You can change between 6 different flower carpet designs and also take a photo and share on social media.
