Acharya Shri Vishad Sagarji Maharaj was born on 11th april 1964 in, kupi (Chatharpur, Madhya Pradesh.) His father’s name was Late Shri Ramesh Chandra jain and mother’s name is Shrimati Inder Devi jain. He received his Bhramacharya vrat in 8th November 1992. He was initiated by a monk and received his first muni padh in Dhronahgiri (Chatharpur, MP) by Acharaya Shri Viraag Sagarji Maharaj on 8 February 1996. He later received his Acharya Padh in 23 February 2004 by Acharya Bharath Sagarji Maharaj.

He is not only known for his tapsaya but also he is a great scholar who is written many books.
