Nyborg is the heart of the Kingdom of Denmark. It was Denmark’s first capital. From here, kings and queens unified our kingdom. This is where the seeds of our democracy were planted. You can still visit the room where Denmark’s first constitution was signed. And the halls where Christian III sat as a pivotal force behind the reformation – the first step towards our modern society.
