VGU have got Approval from UGC, AICTE, Bar Council of India (BCI), is member of Association of Universities (AIU) offers courses in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Law, COmputer Application, Science, Commerce, International Trade and Commerce. VGU offers Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. It also offers Certification course in Animal Health Worker which covers Livestock Production & management, Veterinary Medicine and Artificial Insemination.

History
Vivekananda Global University was established in 2012 with an aim of overall development of student. Sponsored by Bagaria Education Trust, VGU is Established under Rajasthan State Assembly Act 11/2012. Headed by Dr. Adarsh Kishore, Ex-Finance Secretary, GOI and Chairman Axis Bank Ltd, Prof. (Dr.) M. Raisinghani, Former Director, MNIT Jaipur and Prof. Y.K. Vijay, a leading researcher as President (Vice Chancellor).
