About Vocabulary Trainer (free) Android App

***Attention: the vocabulary has to be filled on your own!***

How it works:

1) Translate with included dictionaries
2) Save selected translation into your vocabulary
3) Learn it

If you train language vocabulary or learn scientific terms, with the help of these games your training will go nicer and faster.
In opposite to common learning applications with Vocabulary Trainer you may develop and learn your own vocabulary (set of words), terms, dates etc. And therefore you may train whatever you want: language vocabulary, historical events, medical classification, scientific terms etc. It's simple, but it is effective.
Features of the Vocabulary Trainer:

* dictionary to translate and to fill your own vocabulary (set of words)
* five learning games: cards, flashcards, columns, speech, pairs
* beautiful pictures to stimulate training process
* access to pre-defined vocabulary sets from shared source (for different language pairs)
* simple, nice and easy customizable interface (fonts, colors, etc.)
* learning statistics

Available games:
* Cards: find a pair of keywords from the number of words you see. If you choose the right pair, it will disappear and uncover a part of a picture in the background. Try to guess all pairs to see the whole picture.
* Flashcards: choose which part of the card you like to be hidden (e.g. hide the word in the foreign language you want to memorize and leave its pair in your native language). Then try to guess which word could be written on the hidden part, make it visible and estimate your guess with buttons: "right", "unsure" or "failed". Panel on the top shows your learning results statistics. With its help you may switch between groups and choose to play with more difficult or easy for you pairs.
* Columns: you can practice the tasks which require skills in assignment the keywords to a proper category (genders for nouns, cases for prepositions etc.). You will be offered by turn the keywords from the set you have chosen and you need to select the category to which in your opinion it belongs to (e.g. select the set that contains nouns in the foreign language and try to assign them properly to their genders, for Ex., "Schlepptau (n)"). Statistics on the top shows you your achievements and you can repeat again with the most difficult vocabulary pairs.
* Speech: reads aloud selected vocabulary (using available and pre-selected text-to-speech-engine of your smartphone). You can learn by heart pairs from vocabulary listening them for example through headphones in a public transport. Some useful options like a "repetition count", or "pause between fields" are available. Try to guess a translation before it will be pronounced!
* Pairs: the same as flashcards but you see many pairs at once and can not estimate your guess.
* Listings: here you may choose more words or terms to learn at one time. Select the number of pairs to be learned, hide one of the sides and try to guess the pairs you have just hidden. You may also learn the pairs leaving both sides opened as well.
* Hidden cards (temporarily unavailable): more complicated version of 'Cards'. Now the text on the cards is invisible until you select one or two. You have to keep in mind the cards you have just uncovered and find their pairs relying on your memory.

For the beginning of the training process you may start with prepared vocabularies for different languages, create your own vocabulary sets or download them from other sources. Some popular third-party formats are also supported.
Do you know one more interesting vocabulary game that can be also implemented here? Share your ideas with me and I will work on its implementation.

And the last but not least: I am wishing you much fun by learning your vocabulary sets with Vocabulary Trainer!
Enjoy!
