VOV App Version 1.0 is the condensed mobile version of voiceofvizag.com website. We are releasing the Mobile App to help thousands of Vitizens who do not have access to computers to allow them to register civic complaints or post forum topics from their smart phones.
Voice of Vizag is a portal for the people of Vizag and has lots of features for the Vitizens to communicate and make the city better. It is difficult to provide all such features in a Mobile App due to the constraints associated with cell phones. So, we picked only the most important ones for the Mobile App. The features available in the current release of the App are as described below:
1) Login/Log Out: Registered users can login and stay online until they explicitly log out from the Mobile App. A one-time registration is required from the website for security reasons. Login to the Mobile App is mandatory to use other features of the Mobile App.
2) Register a Complaint: You can register a complaint once you are logged into the Mobile App. Report civic issues such as bad roads, unattended garbage, stray dogs etc that affect you and your community. The complaint registration process is similar to that of the website.
3) Start a Forum Topic: You can post any topic for a discussion, and the topic does not have to be an issue. You can choose from various categories such as economic, political, environmental, social and cultural.
4) Post an Event: Post your events such as music festivals, sports events, blood donation drives etc.
5) Add My Business: We encourage you to get a free online profile in the 'VOV Community Directory'. Having an online profile is a good way to let others know about you and your business or organization.
6) Go to the website: For all other features, you can visit voiceofvizag.com website.

Known Issues:
1) Login Issue: Users with Android Ginger Bread operating system reported Login issues after installing the software. We intend to fix this issue in future releases. Users with Login issues are recommended to upgrade to latest versions of Android OS.

2) Upload Issue: Users with Android Kit Kat 4.4 or Jelly Bean 4.4.2 reported Image/File upload issues. We intend to fix this issue in future releases. Users with such upload issues are recommended to upgrade to latest versions of Android OS.
