Cause:

About 4 years back when I was busy, with my normal office and day to day life concerns. Those days I was bachelor and used to live with my friends for Job near Delhi.One day, we came to know that one girl, who was coming from her study classes with her friend, was raped in a running bus in Delhi, by 6-7 men. News spread in whole country. It was all over the news channels and social media. In a day or two few women organisations came on streets. Student organisations joined hands with them and in a blink of eye, it became a movement against the rapists and government was forced to take action. Everybody was talking about women safety, so were we (that group of few bachelors).

We were thinking of doing our bit and putting something in place that could help in women safety and came up with this idea of Walk Safe. We could not invest much, only thing we could do invest a little in Google Play Store Account and create the App on our own. So we did.



Uses:
Walk Safe App is for security of women and kids.

1. With this you can ensure the safety of your family members, when they are not arround you.

2. In case of danger you can ask someone to look for you.


Steps to use:

1. First Add your friends/family members.
2. Create Emergency list.

Case 1: You are in an unsafe place. You want to notify someone about this.
a. Select your family member.
b. Tap Track Me. With this they will receive a request to follow you.

Case 2: Someone started running after you. You want immidiate help.
a. Unlock your mobile.
b. Press Volumne button 3 times in following sequence :
Volume UP then Volume Down
c. Your location will be sent via SMS to All people in your Emergency List.

Case 3: You want to look for your family members / friends
a. Select your family member.
b. Tap Track Friend. With this their location and distance will be displayed on your mobile.



This app is totally free and always will be.
