Not using the Internet
No location information is collected or used (this system does not utilize location)
No connection is established between the car and the bicycle. System is non-intrusive.
Future: Will get more robust as manufacturers & developers will utilize it and improve and innovate the system..
Objective: Increased visibility of bicycle riders for nearby cars to avoid accidents.
Use simple car devices (such as the smartphone in the car) to detect bicycles which are equipped with bicycle beacons (Bicycles beacon may be Bluetooth technology and/or Wi-Fi technology)

Distance of bicycle from the car may be up to 300 feet to 4000 feet ( depends on strength of the beacon)
