WAVES, the National Techno-Management Symposium of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at CEG celebrates the indomitable passion of the inceptive engineers to unravel the infinite enigmas of nature through Science and Engineering. Noted as one of the must-attend fests in the to-do-lists of students of students from over 250+ colleges across the nation, we strive hard to exceed the expectations of 5000+ participants every year.

Spanning two days, WAVES is the hallmark of department symposiums in CEG. Technocrats and Entrepreneurs will be in our aesthetic auditoriums to quench your thirst for knowledge and inspiration. About our Department:
Established in the year 1930, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has risen to great heights. It has been the pioneer in research and development of multifarious disciplines pertaining to the Electrical technology.

Achievements:
- Built the on board power systems for university’s microsatellite ANUSAT (India’s first university satellite), sponsored by ISRO.
- NBA accreditation for four PG programs.
- Setting up of the Anna University and Ryerson University urban energy centre for research for sustainable urban energy.
- Centre for advanced studies in Power application and embedded systems by UGC.
- National-MEMS design centre sponsored under NPMASS.
- Department is recognized under NaMPET.
