Policy effective immediately after registering through the app in android as well iPhone customers.
Policy Covers including damage repair costs
All Risk Coverage (Theft, Burglary, Liquid Damage, Physical Damage) (Note – Theft and Burglary not covered for devices costing less than Rs. 5,000)
In cases of theft or burglary or damage beyond repair, settlement is based on device value less depreciation which mentioned in chart.

All Claims: within 15 days
Total Loss: Handset would be replaced by same model. Incase that model is discontinued by company, we would refund as per our depreciation policy.

FIR compulsory in case of Theft or burglary.

Final claim settlement by New India Assurance and according to terms of the policy, We secure’s staff as well sales channel and service provider are not responsible for all cases settlement and claim payments.

Exclusions

Exclusions under the mobile phone insurance policy are

Mysterious disappearance.
Theft from unattended vehicles, except from fully enclosed car that is securely locked.
Theft, loss or damage during the hire or loan to a third party.
Mechanical and electronic breakdown or derangement.
Overloading and experimentation involving imposition of any abnormal conditions.
Damage by wear and tear, vermin, atmospheric or climatic condition or gradual deterioration, inherent defect or from any process of cleaning, repairing or maintenance.
Loss or damage due to war or nuclear perils, loss by water or from any water borne craft.
Intentional or willful act of the insured party.

Compensation

The insurance cover provides compensation equivalent to the the cost of replacement of the instrument by a new instrument of the same specification and same capacity, including all taxes and duties.
