About Weather Monkey APRS Android App
Weather Monkey APRS offers an alternative weather information resource utilizing the Automatic Packet Reporting System, a popular communication protocol among the Amateur Radio community. In the event that national or international weather information systems become unavailable or inconvenient, Weather Monkey APRS can relay important weather conditions to the user in a matter of seconds.
The user simply starts the application, supplies a callsign (or unique ID), location, server choice and coverage radius then gets weather information streamed directly to the Android device real time such as temperature, barometric pressure, rain fall, etc.
