About Webcam Client Android App
Application displays video received from USB webcam. Data is grabbed from webcam by server application (Webcam Server) installed on PC, then transmitted to client application (Webcam Client). You can use your phone data to receive video. Frame rating and video quality are adjustable. Server application will be available soon for Linux distributions (also for Rapsberry PI).
Only few steps are required to use the hardware you probably have as real time surveliance camera:
- Download Webcam Server application from http://webcamstreamserver.sourceforge.net.
- Install it on your PC.
- Plug in your webcam to USB input.
- Install Webcam Client from Google Play.
