add setAlarmClock for Android 5, you will see a clock in the notification screen when active
WeltHeimGong is your private mobile bell tower.
WeltHeimGong plays every quarter-hour a chime (1 to 4x) and every full hour an additional chime (1 to 12x).
The two sound files can be configured individually.
Included is the chime from Veltheim.
The volume can be adjusted. It is relative to the configured Music volume of the device.
You can configure individual hours when the gong will not sound.
And of course it can also be turned off completely.
When you switch on the app it gives the number of beats of the last quarter-hour.
Has been tested on Samsung, HTC and Huawei smart phones.
update July 2016: There are several reports with Android 5 and higher that the delivery of the sound is inexact by minutes. Google changed, from my perspective without need, the meaning of RTC_WakeUp in Android 4.4 And changed the interpretation of the new API call setExact again in 5 and again in 6. Looks like google does not care about real time clock apps. New APIs for saving power are always welcome, but they should care about backwards compatibility. So sorry, if the app is not precise. It has exactly the precision of googles APIs and their description and interpretation by vendors.
