This app provides quick and easy transformation of Global (WGS84) Latitude and longitude values into grid coordinates specific to the Jamaica datum 2001(JAD2001) and also the reverse calculation.
Uses:
- Helps GPS operators convert between WGS84 and Northing and Easting Grid coordinates.
-Useful to students engaged in assignments and need a conversion tool to aid in the process.
-Useful to professionals needing to translate global information into the local system
and vice versa.
Instruction:
1- Open the application.
2- Select which conversion you wish to perform
3- Input the latitude and longitude or Northing and Easting values you wish to convert.
3- Tap 'done' then press the Convert button. Then the corresponding coordinate will be calculated and displayed on screen.
