About #WhereRU - Location sharing Android App
You don't have access to a good data connection? You think that location-sharing application are killing your battery? Try this one!
This app will allow your friends to request your current location by sending you a text message (SMS) containing a keyword. Your phone will automatically reply to them by text message (SMS) with a link to a map with your position.
Very handy if you plan to go for long runs and want your wife to be able to know where you are without calling you, or if you plan to meet some friends at a big concert where mobile network will be saturated!
This application wakes up only when receiving a SMS! No background task, no permanent location requests, no data connection required: your battery is safe!
