About Wi-Fi Toggler Android App
** Doesn't work anymore with Android 6+: Since the introduction of the new power management system (Doze). When the device is in sleep mode, doze deactivates the passive scan feature and as a result: No Wi-Fi detection hence no Wi-Fi toggling :(
Wi-Fi Toggler uses an advanced feature of the android system to passively scan for Wi-Fi networks even when the adapter is disabled.
So, when a known Wi-Fi is in range, Wi-Fi Toggler enables the adapter and when the Wi-Fi goes out of range the adapter is automatically disabled.
This way, you'll never have to toggle the Wi-Fi again when you get or leave home, work or any other places where you connected to a Wi-Fi network at least once*.
