Somos WIE (Women in Engineering) UTP, un Grupo de Afinidad de la IEEE que se encarga de promover la participación y permanencia de mujeres en la lngeniería.

Nosotros somos un grupo de afinidad de la Rama Estudiantil IEEE UTP que se encarga de promover la equidad de género entre hombres y mujeres, así mismo el trabajo en equipo y el apoyo mutuo. Con esta fórmula hemos logrado que tanto mujeres como hombres deseen pertenecer a nuestro grupo y tengan ganas de trabajar todos juntos por la promoción y retención de mujeres en las diferentes áreas de ingeniería y ciencias tecnológicas, demostrando así que esto es tarea de todos.We are WIE (Women in Engineering) UTP, an affinity group of the IEEE which is responsible for promoting the participation and retention of women in the lngeniería.

We are an affinity group of the IEEE Student Branch UTP that is responsible for promoting gender equality between men and women, also teamwork and mutual support. With this formula we have achieved that both women and men want to belong to our group and are willing to work together for the promotion and retention of women in different areas of engineering and technological sciences, demonstrating that this is everyone.
