This app reads your backup wpa_supplicant.conf file or the wifi settings file extracted from adb backup (com.android.providers.settings) and imports those settings to your device.
Permission request:
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE - Read your configured wifi so that this app will not import duplicate wifi settings.
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE - Required to restore the wifi settings.
No other permission required. No external storage or even network permission required. Your wifi passwords will not be stolen!
This app does not require ROOT permission on the running device. However, you need ROOT permission on your old device to backup the wpa_supplicant.conf file. If you do not have ROOT permission on your old device, you can use adb backup method to backup the wifi settings (which is in the package com.android.providers.settings).
If you use the adb backup method, you may read this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011811") on how to extract adb backup.
If you do not understand what I am talking about, this app is not for you. If your really want to know how to use this app, you may email to [email protected].
