About WiFON Android App
WiFON is a proof of concept app for our peer to peer technology. In a nutshell, it's full of bugs ;) but allows you to communicate with other mobile devices wirelessly completely without any Internet connectivity and no, it's not using Bluetooth for that, not a bit.
Important: messages and files are encrypted only with a simply cryptography (so far). We have a more robust solution in the works but we decided not to prolong the (already super late) release date, so don't send credit card numbers over the air, m'kay?
Also, there seem to be a certain amount of Huawei devices not very well working with Android's P2P stack (for instance the P8lite model). Feel free to report such problems!
