wiseWeather - Instant Weather

About wiseWeather - Instant Weather Android App

This simple application displays your current weather based on your phone's coarse location (latitude and longitude). Information includes:
- Current weather description
- Current ambient temperature
- Current wind speed

This application REQUIRES GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES for location data.

Please note that the app will display in Imperial or Metric units based on which country you are located in (i.e. America, Liberia, and Myanmar will display in Imperial, all else display in Metric). In an upcoming release I will add an option to change between these units.

The entire UI was created using the Jetpack Compose UI library on Android. Animated weather patterns include:
- Rain
- Snow
- Clouds
- Lightning
- Clear Sky Day
- Clear Sky Night

Regarding permissions: This application requires the coarse location permission in order to allow instant zero interaction display of your current weather. The latitude and longitude is never stored long term (i.e. more than one hour) nor shared outside of the application.
