According to tax free regulations, if you buy certain kinds of goods in the European Union while being a resident of a country outside the EU, and you are bringing them with you as you get back to your home country no later than 30 days after the purchase, then you have the right to get your VAT/IVA tax refunded. You may be asked to go show the purchased goods in the customs office to prove they are unused and you are bringing them with you, so have them ready.
