About WORLDkids Android App

The WORLDkids app is a part of the WORLD News Group product line for kids. As parents, we want to empower our children to be faithful thinkers and wise explorers—to wonder and to wonder why—in a safe and engaging way, and the WORLDkids app provides just that.

This new WORLDkids product delivers all of the following: smartphone- and tablet-compatible content with brilliant color, sound, animation and video; a deep well of interactive games, maps, activities, quizzes and puzzles; current events and daily news updates that are inspiring, not depressing; essential educational topics disguised in fun categories: The Mud Room (earth science), Time Machine (history), Jet Balloon (geography) and more; and colorful magazines delivered bimonthly throughout the academic year to accompany the engaging digital content, offering your children an “unplugged” experience. The app provides all of the articles for each of the categories on the website and in the magazine. Your child will be able to view the articles then share the content with friends. Additional updates and new features to the application coming soon!

The application does require a login to gain access. To receive a login, you will need to go to kids.wng.org/about to purchase a membership to WORLDkids, which will grant digital access to the application and website along with the hard copy magazine. Joining is simple and easy!
