In X Rush 3d you are hurtling through a Tron type landscape, your speed keeps increasing and you have to deal with various events that aim to stop you in your tracks. Throw in some colored cubes your goal is to stay alive as long as possible, and it does get easier, but will take practice. It is all about speed, and concentration. After each run you generate some credits. Credits can be spent on various types of ships and boosters such as credits doubler, or recover from a crash.
