A Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, por intermédio da Diretoria de
Divulgação Científica da PROEX, realiza anualmente a UFMG Jovem com o
intuito de promover o intercâmbio de trabalhos técnico-científicos e produções
culturais da Educação Básica. A Feira de Ciências UFMG Jovem consiste em
uma mostra de até 50 trabalhos técnico-científicos selecionados.

Em sua 17ª edição, a UFMG Jovem adota temática tripla: Ano Internacional das Leguminosas, o Ano Internacional dos Camelídeos e o Ano Internacional do Entendimento Global.
Orientada por esses temas, a feira cria oportunidade para o debate de questões de interesse mundial e para se estabelecer relação entre ciência e cotidiano.The Federal University of Minas Gerais, through the Board of
Scientific dissemination of PROEX annually conducts the Young UFMG with
order to promote the exchange of technical and scientific works and productions
Cultural Basic Education. The Fair Young UFMG Sciences consists of
a display of up to 50 technical and scientific papers selected.

In its 17th edition, the Young UFMG adopts triple theme: International Year of Pulses, the International Year of camelids and the International Year of Global Understanding.
Guided by these issues, the fair creates opportunity to discuss issues of global concern and to establish the relationship between science and everyday life.
