Yashima Castle Comes Alive lets you experience Yashima Castle restored with AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality). Yashima Castle is an ancient castle built around 1,350 years ago that is recorded in Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan), the oldest history book in Japan. The app introduces Yashima Castle and Yashima while touching on Yashima Castle's history and attractions in and around Yashima.

■Experience the castle gate
You can superimpose the CG version of the restored castle gate over an image of the actual castle gate. You can see a CG version of the castle gate made from panorama photos and take a photo of yourself looking like an ancient warrior.
