has now released her third cookbook and taken a new direction by combining the new recipes with a DVD. Now her audience has a chance to follow every move, step by step taught in a similar manner as her ongoing cooking classes.


The focus in the new book lies in learning the small tricks that boosts the flavor in the wholesome Indian spices and ingredients. Still keeping everything simple enough to fit anyone that is new to Asian cuisine as well as the once whom are well experienced.


Yesmine´s Indian/ Arabic cooking is a fantastic mix of her background. It has grown with her being born in Sri Lanka, adopted and raised in Sweden, travelling all over the globe presenting and performing. Then finally settling in Iceland 10 years ago. She is educated personal trainer and nutrition consultant from Sweden and have worked in the health industry for 15 years combined with 8 Fitness competitions world wide and a career in show business. This is what makes her food unique, healthy, glamorous, and western Indian. With this DVD Yesmine made her first TV debut as a chef on National Channel 1, Ruv in Iceland with much popularity and high viewings. And only in March 2011 Yesmine received her second award from Gourmand World Cookbooks Awards in Paris. With a former

The Bollywood dinner show that builds on recipes from Yesmines books and some of the most popular dances and songs out of Bollywood was put up in Reykjavik, 2009. It have gained much positive recognition and have been invited to perform in Paris, Abu Dhabi and Stockholm at various events. Yesmine is now preparing her second cooking show for TV, as well as a big Bollywood show in the New concert house in Reykjavik “Harpa”
