This application is primarily designed for people could potentially go out of cell phone coverage. So network is not needed for it to run. GPS signal is required. This has changed since the map view feature was added. Internet is needed for view tracking data on map. Tracking data is stored locally on your Android device.

Main features:
- Precise calculation of sun rise and sun set time at current or a saved GPS location.
- Moon phase, moon rise, moon set, moon distance calculation at current or a saved GPS location.
- Tracking movement as runner, skier, hiker, etc.
- Save various locations of interests.
- Compass (True north or Magnetic north).
- Heading guidance to a saved locations.
- Manually editing saved locations.
- Location backup and restore.
- Various settings to suit individual preferences.
- Map presentation of a saved tracking data.
- Continue tracking from a previously saved tracking data.

This application requires following permissions:
- Fine (GPS) location: many features require GPS location to calculate. e.g. sun rise/set, moon rise/set, tracking.
- Keep awake: when tracking is on, user can turn off screen but the cpu will keep on running for tracking.
- Storage access: backup/restore location files to/from the external storage.
- Internet access: getting Google map data for display the tracking data on map.

Hints:
- Go to tracking data tab, select a tracking data ends with .bin, click map view button to show tracking on map.
- Long press location in location list (Locations tab) would bring choices to allow user delete a location, copy location as text to clipboard, or modify a location;
- Long press on the tracking information would bring up a choice of copy whole tracking contents (text) to clipboard.
- When selecting GPS update interval "auto setting", the actual interval would be 15 minutes if tracking is not on, or real time if tracking is on.
- Location cannot be updated or deleted if "deny update" had been turned on, however, it can still be modified with the modify menu.
- The date setting on the setting tab affects only the sun rise/set, moon rise/set/phase calculation.
