This app is for anyone who wants to pay attention to awaken en grow virtues in him- or herself and others.

What are virtues?
Virtues are positive character traits, like Patience, Courage, and Self-confidence. The 52 Virtues Cards of this app clearly describe each virtue. This allows you to practice them and recognize them in others. With the Virtues Game you will have 52 fundamental life skills close to hand.

Why look at virtues?
In your daily life you already often practice many virtues without realizing it. By becoming more aware of this, you get to know your virtues well. Aristotle said that virtue lies in the middle. You discover your character strengths, and weaker parts where you can grow. This is helpful in developing your self-confidence, peace and connection with yourself and others.

Virtues can precisely touch the point where you feel stuck
It feels good to get busy with virtues. They can encourage, inspire, comfort and support. They can precisely put a gentle finger on the point where you have been stuck.

How to use the app
You may look for a virtue that fits the situation you are in, they are sorted alphabetically. For instance, when you find it hard to wait, you can look up ‘Patience’ or ‘Self-control’ and read them. Which phrase can be helpfull?
You may scroll through the virtues and in that way find a virtue that encourages, inspires, comforts and supports you.
You may also use the ‘virtue pick’ option: tap on the diamond, and the app chooses a virtue for you. You may be amazed to find it is exactly the virtue you can use! Nothing happens by accident?!
